1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how NordBrew ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use Orbit (the "App"). By using Orbit, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Orbit is designed to be a device-local app. Your birthdays and reminder preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not upload them to a server. The App only collects the limited information needed to function on your device:

• Birthday data you enter — such as names, dates, time zones, and optional photos or avatars, all stored locally on your device.
• Notification preferences — whether and how you'd like to be reminded, stored locally and used to schedule notifications on your device.

We do not create profiles of you, and we do not collect any information that can personally identify you.

3. How We Use Information

Because virtually all of the data is local, we use the limited information collected to:

• Operate and maintain the App on your device.
• Schedule the birthday notifications you've requested, at the times you choose.
• Show your birthday list and upcoming dates within the App.

4. Notifications & Permissions

Orbit may ask for permission to send local notifications. These notifications are scheduled and delivered on your device by your operating system; we do not use notification services to transmit your data to us. You can grant or revoke permission at any time in your device's settings.

5. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require you to create an account or provide a name, email address, or phone number.
• We do not collect your precise location.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• We do not serve third-party advertisements.

6. Third-Party Services

Orbit does not currently rely on third-party services for analytics, advertising, or cloud storage. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy to reflect any third parties and links to their privacy policies.

7. Data Retention

Birthday data stored locally on your device remains until you delete the individual entry, delete the app, or clear the app's data in your device settings. Reminder schedules are removed when the associated birthday is deleted.

8. Children's Privacy

Orbit is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can assist.

9. Your Rights and Choices

• Local data: You can delete any birthday, or all locally stored data, by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data in your device settings.
• Notifications: You can disable Orbit notifications at any time from your device's notification settings.

10. Security

Because your data stays on your device, it is protected by your device's own security. We take reasonable measures in the App itself to keep local data safe. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
